Helene Gjerris Helene Gjerris was born in 1968. She is known as an enthusiastic brilliant mezzo era singer. She graduated at The Royal Danish of music conservatoire with Kirsten Buhl Møller where she had her first debut in 1997. She also took a degree at The Clown School in London. She has after a number of years created herself an image as an enthusiastic, charismatic versatile singer. She is one of Denmark’s must exciting singers. The comprehensive Repertoire of Helene Gjerris is from baroque to classics and to the most unique modern chamber music. She was one of the founders of ensembles Figura in 1992. She received in 1999 Gladsaxe music prize and Reumert- talent prize. In 2000 she received The Music- reviewer-rings art prize and in 2003 The Axel Schiøtz- prize and The Danish Association Of Music And Musicians prize in 2005. Helene Gjerris preformed at The Royal Court Theatre at the theatre museum, spring 2006. She also took part in the first opera production, Antichrist on DVD in May 2005. The Danish Association Of Music And Musicians will focus on a new opera written by Peter Bruun and Ursula Ankjær Olesens this spring 2006, where Helene Gjerris will appear. Helene Gjerris performs in a new production by Anders Brødsgård this year, 2006, on The New Scene turné.
Allan Rasmussen Allan Rasmussen was born in 1968 and educated at The Danish Royal Music Conservatory where he also had his first debut on organ and cembalo in 1993. He started his musical studies when he was just 16 years old. His admission was at The Royal Danish Music Conservatory where he was hired as organist at Vartov church in Copenhagen, at this time he was 17 years old. The subsequent years he successfully has given concerts on organ and cembalo. In 1996 Allan Rasmussen together with 7 other musicians founded the baroque ensemble Con Strumenti and in a short while they attract great attention in the Danish music life, mostly because of their recording of J.S Bachs 5 Brandenburger consert. In the latest years Allan Rasmussen has been a thoroughly part of the chamber musical Consecutive and has been a soloist with orchestras as Collegium Musicum, Helsingborg symphony orchestra and Tivoli symphony orchestra. Furthermore he has recorded discs with the historical organs at the Bregentved castle and Sønderborg castle. At the Danish radio competition in 1998 he received the second winning price and in 1999 he received The Music reviewer ring of artist price. Since 1996 Allan Rasmussen has been an organist at the church in Farum and also teaches on cembalo at The Music Academy in Fyn. He also has recorded compact discs, for instance in 1996 at the opening of Mads Kjergaards renaissance organ. At the Rosenborg Renaissance festival in September 2006 will Allan Rasmussen perform. He will also play church music in Odense Sct.Hans 2006 from March to August this year.
Henrik Metz Henrik Metz was born in 1948. He started his piano lessons when he was 4 years old. He started his Musician scientifically studiers in 1967-1973. He was in 1970 the accompanist at the Danish TV - radio opera and the Radio chorus, The Royal Opera and the Royal Danish of music conservatoire. He played at Cembalist in Frederiksberg baroque ensemble and The Baroque trio. He has preformed in Greenland, Sweden, Norway and Germany with The Baroque trio and Frederiksberg baroque ensemble. Henrik Metz is and versatile artist with a long career. He has played Church concerts and chamber concerts on variety kind of instruments, piano, organ, and cembalo. Henrik Metz also plays jazz music and light music. He has among many CD’s released a reproduction by Kai Normann Andersen and other well known musicians. His repertoire is comprehensive and he is a brilliant musician. Henrik Metz gave a concert in January 2006, where he gave his interpretation of the Danish Romance genre. He also gave concert in February 2006, with the Zealand symphony orchestra at the art industry museum.
