David Bogorad

David Bogorad was born in 1986 and began to play the violin at the age of 6 at the local music school in Allerød. He now studies with Professor Milan Vitek at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, U.S.A. He has performed as a soloist with Københavns Yngre Strygere (KYS), DUSIKA og Harrisburg Youth Symphony. David Bogorad won 1st prize at the Jacob Gade Violin Competition and Berlingske Tidendes Classical Music Competition. He has received a special award from the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra at the Øresund Soloist Competition in 2005. David has played numerous Master Classes, including Aaron Rosand (at the Royal Theater), Gyorgy Pauk, Nikolaj Znaider, Gil Shaham, Eszter Haffner (Graz), prof. Sally Thomas (Juillard School of Music), Anker Buch, Lars Bjørnkjær, Tim Frederiksen, Elizabeth Zeuthen Schneider, Odin Rathnam and Christina Åstrand. Since 2002 David has played on a violin kindly on loan from Anker Buch’s private collection.

Neel Bramsnæs Teilmann

Neel B. Teilmann was born in 1984 and began to play the piano at the age of 6. She has participated several times in the Berlingske Tidendes Classical Music Competition and won a 1st prize in 1999 and 2001. Neel also participated in the Danish Steinway Competition and in 2001 won 2nd prize as well as a prize for the best performance of new music, and in 2004 she won 1st prize and “The Steinway Student VIP prize". In 2003 began studies at The Royal Danish Music Conservatory studying with Amalie Malling. Neel has also participated in numerous Master Classes, including Eero Heinonen (Sibelius Acamedy), Istvàn Làntos (Liszt Academy), the Swedish pianist Per Tengstrand and Volker Banfield (Conservatory in Hamburg). Neel B. Teilmann has recently been accepted as one of the Conservatory’s especially talented students.
